The Department of Psychiatry within the School of Medicine seeks a Senior Project Coordinator within our Center for Excellence team.

The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in an innovative career aimed at increasing the well-being of children involved in child welfare, foster care and other related child systems across the State of Missouri.

This is a truly unique nursing opportunity that allows for daily collaboration with the Center's interdisciplinary team which includes a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Pediatrician, and Psychiatric Pharmacist. This program addresses a multitude of physical and mental health issues and works collaboratively with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Children's Division.

A nurse with psychiatric patient care experience would be ideal, but is not necessary. The ability to engage and build relationships with people over the phone is critical. Limited to no travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identification and obtainment of information needed by Center staff to assess child's specific services and issues
- Data entry into RedCap (a secure database system); review, revise and update child case information.
- Provision of information to Department of Social Services (DSS) staff and contractors as identified by DSS regarding a child's specific issues/needs in person, over the phone/WebEx or via telehealth
- Documentation of consultation and other services
- Maintain knowledge of MO's child welfare and mental health systems
- Identification and reporting of trends and issues to Coordinator

Shift

8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Individuals who apply to this position must have a LPN license to be considered. Additionally, experience with behavioral or mental health care and RedCAP and/or database management is preferred.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $51,875 - $75,000 Annually
Grade: GGS-010
