Mizzou Marketing and Communications is a critical partner in helping the institution meet its mission and strategic goals. The marketing team for Mizzou Online is committed to working in an intentional, data-informed, forward-looking, and collaborative manner to implement a comprehensive enrollment strategy.
Mizzou Online Marketing works collaboratively with academic leadership and the University's marketing professionals to create a marketing strategy that is consistent with the University's overall brand and that supports the institution's Strategic Enrollment Plan. Mizzou Online Marketing bears primary responsibility for the execution of that strategy as it pertains to online education.
The Director of Marketing for Mizzou Online reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing. Operating within a centralized marketing model, this position will initiate, develop, plan, strengthen and implement innovative processes, technology enhancements and best practices with a continuous improvement mindset to facilitate student recruitment, retention, and graduation for Mizzou Online. The director is a highly visible department leader, supporting an extensive group of internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent must have effective marketing, communication, and leadership skills.
This is an in-person/on-campus position. Reimbursement of relocation expenses is available.

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 7 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
