This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office two days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within 50 minutes from Temple, Tx.

The Project Manager I designs, estimates, develops, documents, and coordinates the implementation of one or more projects/solutions in one business area that satisfy the business requirements of aligned application development requests within the allocated time and budget. They ensure that all aspects of a project plan are followed and documented.

  • Managing multiple projects from start to completion, on time, within budget, and in scope.
  • Oversee design, develop, testing, and implementation of one or more projects/solutions that satisfy the business requirements.
  • Set deadlines, estimating resource needs, assign responsibilities, monitoring , and reporting on project progress to leadership.
  • Manage multiple tasks associated with one or more projects.
  • Write detailed specifications for multiple applications within at least one business area.
  • Consult with users to ensure the following: McLane methodology is followed, requirements and design deliverables match the design specifications, test plans fit the requirements and test results correspond to test plans.
  • Develop and test solutions using the McLane development tools and meet the McLane standards.
  • Create implementation documentation; coordinate the implementation and post-implementation activities.
  • Coordinate and validate the system-testing process and the user acceptance testing process.
  • This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira), methodologies (SDLC/ Agile), and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile Transformation, development of project management standards, and training other teammates.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, with matrixed teams.
  • Managing programs, projects, and assignments independently that cross organizational boundaries for project teams, interlocks and/or environments.
  • Have a bachelor's degree OR equivalent, related experience.
  • Have at least 4 years of broad-based experience in specific and related disciplines of the business.
  • Have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Be proficient with multiple development tools and multiple environments.
