POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Shields Point, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for Security Guard, responsible to control access to classified area.Maintain secure environment by monitoring premises and personnel.

• Secures premises and personnel by controlling access to classified building, inspecting personal belongings & incoming equipment, monitoring access points; permitting entry to qualified personnel.
• Issues appropriate visitor badges connoting access levels.
• Reports irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; forbids entry to trespassers.
• Escorts maintenance & janitorial personnel when required.
• Maintains situational awareness of Base & USAF Security postures (Force-con, Info-con, etc.).
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as directed.
• Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.

Payrate:$21.30 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years security experience.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of DoD and USAF Security directives, policies and procedures.
• Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
• Must be able to work indoor conditions 95% of the time.
