Job Description Summary This role provides a wide variety of warehouse and shipping support services to the client office and the successful candidate will be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a team player attitude.
Essential Functions Receive, sort, process and distribute all incoming packages/pallets Pick-up, process, validate documentation and handoff to the designated freight Supplier all client-outgoing packages Record and Label materials. Maintain inventory using client inventory systems Enter Bill of Ladings Process desktop shipping labels for outbound shipments Process all request/orders Prepare and ship all non-regulated packages received daily Utilize Trackpad scanners to scan and record all incoming and outgoing packages (internal and external). Troubleshoot and fix any issues with Trackpad equipment and software. Use Trackpad data analytics to create reports and report out metrics on incoming and outbound shipping data. Clearly identify, sort, and manage all good and bad pallet inventories for mail, shipping, and receiving operations. Weigh and record weight of corrugated material and bundle for shipment daily. Prepare courier packages, coordinating pick-up and delivery, confirming delivery/receipt with appropriate stakeholders, and resolving any related issues in a timely manner Managing incoming and outgoing temperature sensitive shipments Responsible for delivering or coordinating pick up of packages to customer work areas. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Other Duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities Ability to interact with client personnel Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to present information in a clear and concise manner A high degree of accuracy is required for handling sensitive equipment and proper routing of shipments Ability to work in fast paced environment while managing multiple work streams and priorities Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation Ability to detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly Lifting, bending, twisting and operating a manual pallet jack
