As a Human Resources Generalist, you will serve as a partner to our HR team as well as assigned business units by providing support to deliver best practices focused on solutions that support the business area in conjunction with the various specialty areas of Human Resources. You will assist with many aspects of the HR associate life cycle by developing and/or executing on strategies, policies, procedures, guidelines, and programs that support our associates, leaders, and lines of business to achieve goals as well as to reduce turnover, promote retention, and enhance the overall associate experience while remaining compliant with federal and state laws and standards. Additionally, you will drive communication through various channels, create and facilitate HR trainings, and maintain business intelligence reports across platforms to analyze metrices and measure effectiveness of various HR strategies and processes which ultimately drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organizational change, people processes and initiatives within the organization.

As a Human Resource Generalist, you are expected to assist the whole Human Resources team on other requests for support as necessary. You will use appropriate judgment and knowledge of company policies when sharing sensitive information, build a great rapport with peers and all associates, while treating all with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.

  • High School Education
  • 5+ years of relevant job experience
  • Extensive and Proficient knowledge of Excel

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant job experience
  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or PHR/SPHR certification
  • Prior bank experience
  • Proficient in HRMS software, such as Ceridian Dayforce

  • Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Ability to think creatively and meet challenges with resourcefulness.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and effectively manage multiple tasks and/or projects.
  • Ability to make sound and timely decisions, to consistently deliver on commitments, and assume responsibility for results.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Well-developed and proven organization skills with ability to utilize time efficiently.
  • Responsive and flexible; ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and modify approaches or methods to best fit the situation.

  • Must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week.
