Evoke is seeking a QA/QC Lead to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Directs, administers, controls the day-to-day operation, and is responsible for productivity of assigned team members.
  • Provides leadership, support, and guidance to team members.
  • Proficient in the STR process and able to apply that knowledge to everyday tasks to increase quantity and quality of records.
  • Cross-trained with sufficient knowledge of document preparation, scanning, review, and validation in order to train team members on those roles.
  • General knowledge of the shipment process, AWPs, and MHS Genesis.
  • Produce high quality work by repairing and enhancing record documentation, and ensuring all documentation in the hardcopy was converted to electronic form during the validation process.
  • Assist the Project Manager in answering the help desk line in her absence.
  • Assist in testing STR Registry enhancements and new functionalities in the STR DEV and PROD environments.
  • Update record status in the STR Registry to ensure accountability of records as they move through the process.
  • Familiarize yourself with the content that should be maintained within the medical and dental records.
  • Work in a team environment
  • Ensure that the confidentiality of sensitive information is protected.

Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Required Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
  • Familiarity with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Conscientious and responsible
  • Dependable/Reliable
  • Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Lean Six Sigma Belt Certified, desired.
  • Strong analytical skills, superior problem-solving skills, and demonstrates critical thinking
  • Proven ability to anticipate requirements and proactively address new tasks to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Education and Years of Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Associate degree preferred

Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information.

  • Quantico, VA (On-site)
