Evoke is seeking a STR Utility Resource to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership, support, and guidance to entire team in support of contract requirements.
  • Perform Project Manager duties when the PM is out of the office.
  • Ensure safe, productive, and positive work environment.
  • Keyholder for the USMC STRCC (Diamond Hall).
  • Daily accountable for STR personnel.
  • Perform contract requirement for Separations Health Assessment /Benefits Delivery at Discharge (SHA/BDD).
  • Proficient in the STR process and able to apply that knowledge to everyday tasks to increase quantity and quality of records.
  • Cross-trained with sufficient knowledge of document preparation, scanning, review, and validation in order to train team members on those roles.
  • Ensure chain of custody of STRs picked up from the U S Post Office, verify count, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Attend, participate and take notes in client meetings regarding the STR contract requirements.
  • Organize, prepare and lead team in the Deployment Health Agency quarterly audits.
  • Lead and be responsible for NARA shipment requirement leading up to and on the day of shipment.
  • Ensure compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures company rules and regulations.
  • Proficient knowledge of the shipment process, AWPs, and MHS Genesis.
  • Provides informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback on annual performance reviews.
  • Answering the STR helpdesk inquiries (phones and email) and assisting in records drop off at STRCC.
  • Assist in testing STR Registry enhancements and new functionalities in the STR DEV and PROD environments.
  • Update records status in the STR Registry to ensure accountability of records as they move through the process.
  • Ensure that the confidentiality of sensitive information is protected.

Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Prior leadership experience
  • Familiarity with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Conscientious and responsible
  • Dependable/Reliable
  • Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Lean Six Sigma Belt Certified, desired.
  • Strong analytical skills, superior problem-solving skills, and demonstrates critical thinking
  • Proven ability to anticipate requirements and proactively address new tasks to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Education and Years of Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • Associate degree preferred

Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information.
