ABOUT THE JOB

• In Versailles, we specialize in the final step of our hydraulic hoses
• Our process starts with metal rods that we trim, bend, and mold into couplings and tubing that attach to Gates hoses
• A Maintenance Technician will spend most of their day repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining machinery in all supporting equipment. This will also include troubleshooting and performing preventative, predictive, and emergency repair of vision, SERVO, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, and troubleshooting PLC's.
• Shifts available:
  1. B/D Shift (5 PM - 5 AM, rotating schedule)
  2. 24-hr responsibilities

ABOUT YOU

• Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the field
• Must use good knowledge of fabrication to increase safety and productivity
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
• Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Temperatures may vary in accordance with weather conditions and may be extreme. Gates is managed in compliance with OSHA guidelines and requires all employees to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
