Job Description

Perform a full range of Industrial maintenance activities on production equipment, preventative maintenance, and building utilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance and unscheduled on production equipment.
  2. Install production equipment, such as machining equipment, assembly fixtures and utility equipment. Assist in building new equipment as necessary.
  3. Install Utility systems, such as potable water, cooling water, compressed air, compressed nitrogen, oxygen and propane.
  4. Troubleshoot equipment problems and to make proper repairs and adjustments.
  5. Complete all required paperwork, work orders, inventory requests, and requisitions.
  6. Prepare requests for equipment, equipment part and supplies.
  7. Supports 5s and safe work practices
  8. Other tasks as directed by your supervisor

Knowledge of Maintenance Trades

  • Carpentry
  • National Electrical Code
  • Hydraulics
  • Industrial Electricity
  • Machine Shop
  • Mechanical Maintenance
  • Pipefitting, Plumbing
  • Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, certification a plus
  • Welding
  • Pneumatics

Ability to read equipment drawings, schematics, installation drawings

Skill in the use of computers and related software applications, esp. Cribmaster

Ability to communicate well with maintenance and production personal

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED, Technical Degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent one year of assignment-related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
