The Property Specialist will assist with the accountability of all MRIGlobal, Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), and Government Furnished Property (GFP). Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, maintaining detailed accurate property records for MRIGlobal assets and government property by client and location, including close-out and property disposition duties and compliance with all government regulations.
This position reports to the Manager-Property Administration and Compliance and ensures compliance with all aspects of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Uniform Guidance.
This position interfaces with staff at all organizational levels, government property administrators, auditors, external clients and DCAA/DCMA counterparts while exhibiting the highest degree of professionalism in all interactions.

Property Administration: Responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics of property for assigned contracts, including company-owned, CAP and government-owned property. This requires demonstrating a broad knowledge of standard concepts within property and logistics administration. Identifies and implements improvements to comply with government property requirements and improve efficiency. |

Asset Administration: Support and work cross-functionally with all company locations Property Coordinator(s) and or the Responsible Party for the assets to ensure they are following procedures and performing their tasks within the property guidelines. Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills to obtain agreement on required actions and schedules concerning program or policy matters. |

Compliance: Maintains government-approved business systems that are fully compliant with government, customer, and contractual requirements. Actively supports the day-to-day requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance as identified in the, specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1. Provides oversight of property at the contract level to ensure risk mitigation and compliance integrity. |

Inventories: Conducts and oversees inventories of government contract property company-owned assets and CAP. Develop recommendations for system improvements after performing thorough studies and analysis of the results. |

Purchase Order Review: Review purchase orders to determine what items need to be tracked and tagged as company-owned assets and what items need to be tracked and tagged as government property. |

Collaboration: Collaborates and plans effectively with a variety of staff to coordinate and/or integrate operations and support other internal organizations, as well as external systems and processes such as the government's Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system and GFP Module. |
