This role works in the HALEON's Saint Louis Engineering Maintenance team. The purpose of the Maintenance Planner / Scheduler role is to plan and schedule the Maintenance work-load activity. Day-to-day, you will work closely with the Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Front Line Leads (FLL) and Unit Leads (UL) to ensure this work history is captured in the CMMS system.

This role would suit a self-motivated technically minded individual who has experience of working in a cross-functional organization. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong people skills and a proven ability to influence people to achieve objectives and drive performance. You will have a continuous improvement mindset and strong demonstrable organizational skills. Experience and strong competence in the use of SAP / ERP is essential.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Provide Engineering support to the Value Streams (Maintenance Works Planning and Scheduling).
  • Develop plans including detailed instructions, tools, parts and permits for the following:
    • Preventive maintenance work orders
    • Calibration work orders
    • Corrective maintenance work orders
    • Project Engineering work orders.
  • Work with production planning to develop downtime requirements and schedule for maintenance activities.
  • Deliver a weekly and monthly schedule to Maintenance FLLs.
  • Assist Maintenance UL during development of daily schedule.
  • Work closely with Engineering Maintenance FLLs / Reliability Engineers, and Maintenance Manager to plan and schedule the annual shutdown activities (including work lists, resources, parts, permits, etc.).
  • Measure and routinely report on Planning & Scheduling KPI's (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Review results of preventive, breakdown, and corrective work orders for follow up work requirements.
  • Correct task plan instructions when required for preventive and calibration work orders.
  • Work with Reliability Engineer to plan, schedule and set up OEM Service Level Agreements
  • Support Projects team with development of new assets, preventive maintenance, and spare parts.
  • Ensure all work activities are carried out according to EHS and GMP practices.
  • Support audits performed by Engineering, EHS, and Quality.
  • Coordinate and monitor Permit to work process applicable to work done in the site.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Degree in Engineering (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) ORTrade School Diploma with minimum 5 years experience in a regulated fast paced cGMP manufacturing engineering environment
  • 1+ years of experience in CMMS program
  • 1+ years of experience in Planning and Scheduling in a regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products
  • Experience using Infor EAM CMMS and SAP for CMMS and purchasing
  • Experience supervising a calibration program for a regulated industry
  • Advanced user and MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and Power BI
