Master's degree in Economics or Econometrics; OR

Master's degree in any field with at least 18 GCH in a combination of the qualifying fields of:
  • Economics
  • Econometrics

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience using assessment techniques to promote teaching and learning excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience with current pedagogical and instructional methods.
  • Demonstrated experience with utilizing a variety of classroom technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all constituencies of a diverse community.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to teach introduction to economics, macroeconomics, and microeconomics courses
  • Experience with asynchronous online, synchronous virtual, and/or hybrid teaching in economics.

Work Hours
Normally scheduled Monday through Friday; may be required to work different assignments to include evenings and/or weekends. Schedule subject to change based upon department needs.
Compensation Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Special Instructions to Applicants
This position will have classes on the Maple Woods and Longview Campus.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is contingent on budget-appropriated funding. Position available Fall 2024 unless otherwise approved.
