Job Description

Position: Named Account Manager, WWT

Location: St Louis, MO

Objective:

Managed and build partner sell-through Public Sector (SLED/FED) revenue

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility is to manage every aspect of the Public Sector partnership between Fortinet and WWT working with the WWT HQ National Partner Manager and Technical resources. This includes building and implementing account plans, marketing plans; motivate, educate, and train partner's sales reps and SE's on Fortinet products and how to sell and demonstrate them; find new business; and build relationships with management levels within the national partner. Must be a key contributor to the revenue growth of the region, and manage to the company growth targets. The Public Sector Named Account Manager will build and promote the Company's position as the worldwide leader in cyber security solutions.

Required Skills

  • Fully qualified, experienced sales professional that is forward thinking and has an expert understanding of the SLED/FED technology business sector with WWT.
  • Minimum eight + years prior channel sales experience a must.
  • Previous experience designing business plans and market strategies with national partners and/or Global Systems Integrators
  • Previous SLED/FED experience managing a vendor relationship and selling thru at national partners in North America.
  • Technical Account Manager or Sales Engineer background
  • Excellent presentation skills required.
  • Proven ability to sell solutions.
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle
  • Competitive, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality.
  • Previous experience in network security. Knowledgeable in the following technologies VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.

Education:

  • BS or equivalent experience, graduate degree preferred
