Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives? Do you want to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can grow your skills and make a difference every day? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a School Based Behavioral Technician!

As a School Based Behavioral Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting students receiving telehealth appointments in the school setting. You'll be part of a collaborative team working together to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care. Here's what you'll get to do:

  • Coordinate Care: Provide seamless care coordination for school based therapy sessions, ensuring that clients get the support they need, when they need it. This includes escorting clients to and from scheduled telehealth appointments at the school, trouble-shooting any technical issues, and providing general direction for clients.
  • Assist During Sessions: Provide assistance during therapy sessions as directed by the clinical treatment team. This could include helping clients with exercises, activities, or simply being present to offer support.
  • Document Client Interactions: Accurately document client care interactions, progress, and outcomes to help track their journey and inform future treatment plans.
  • Foster Positive Relationships: Encourage positive relationships between clients, providers, and other stakeholders to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Implement Program Rules and Guidelines: Consistently implement guidelines, procedures, and program rules to maintain a safe and structured environment for everyone involved.
  • Participate in Staffing: Collaborate with the clinical treatment team to identify problems and establish goals and objectives for treatment, according to Burrell guidelines.
  • Emergency Services: Exercise discretion and judgment when participating in emergency services to provide rapid aid in cases of emotional crisis.
  • Comprehensive Follow-Up: Provide thorough follow-up care for all clients, including follow-up for missed appointments and conducting outreach and engagement as needed.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, has excellent communication skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply today!

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have at least a High School Diploma or GED with experience in Human Services or related field.
  • Must have or obtain within two (2) weeks of employment a valid Driver's License. Must have use of personal auto for occasional transport of clients. Must have auto liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage.
