The Maintenance Superintendent will perform complex, non-repetitive, managerial duties which will monitor department performance daily.Direct Supervisors and Lead associates to ensure that all paperwork is distributed and being filled out properly in a timely manner. Maintain a safe environment to work in and to monitor all necessary procedures.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect daily releases from supply.
- Identify Planned work for Maintenance back log.
- Oversee CMMS / SAP work order requests.
- Track progress of open projects.
- Work with external resources for maintenance and capital solutions.
- Attend daily meetings.
- Perform weekly safety audits, equipment audits.
- Attend KPI and Capital meetings.
- Write CER's as required.
- Manage capital projects as assigned. Prepare KPI's.
- Maintain budgets in assigned departments.
- Build a team-based atmosphere.
- Provide direction for SAP CMMS and the BOSS System.
- Provide support to assigned production areas.
- Complete walk around.
- Development of team through regular one on one meetings
- Track progress of open projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Industry and plant-wide equipment knowledge.
- Knowledge on CER's, budget control, safety, and food
- Safety; Must have good team-building skills and understanding of leadership requirements.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 -7 years of related work experience.
- Must have relevant experience with machinery and equipment.
- Degree in a related field not required.
