As a Design Engineer, you will work with our sales and engineering teams designing fluid power and motion control systems. Our engineers work with entire systems, contributing technical expertise to every aspect of a project.

What you'll do:

  • Provide technical expertise to the sales team as well as directly to customers in a supporting role, relating the use, operation and maintenance of products presented.
  • Creation of fluid power schematics and layout drawings.
  • Review drawings, plans and other customer-generated documents, in order to prepare detailed technical proposals (upgrades) involving products and services offered.
  • Review product offerings and specify selected products for applications. Develop hydraulic system design, cost to assemble, and assist sales with quote development.
  • Assess equipment and machine designs for potential improvements to include innovative technologies.
  • Propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials, which would result in improved safety, energy efficiency, or operational throughput for the customer.
  • Provide technical services to customers relating the use, operation and maintenance of products represented.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with vendors, customers, engineers, programmers, designers, and other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments, to create solutions that incorporate our products and systems.
  • Ongoing learning, investigate products and technology, driving innovation on an ongoing basis.

We seek:

  • Engineering degree; preferably mechanical
  • Foundational knowledge of AutoCAD, 3-D modeling software, or SolidWorks
  • PC proficiency with full Office suite of software.
  • Technical design knowledge of fluid power- primarily Hydraulics
