Description

Your Role: Responsible for execution of sound credit, collection and deduction policies. Also responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and managing Accounts Receivable staff.

  • Assists Director of Credit in setting and meeting annual quality goals and plans, operating budgets, bad debt and deduction reserves, and strategic planning.
  • Communicates and enforces credit, collection and deduction policies.
  • Works with internal customers and suppliers to resolve customer credit and deduction issues.
  • Proactively works through staff to identify the root causes of deduction issues and leads initiatives to reduce write-offs and increase automation.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste.

Role Specifics:

  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel for outside trainings and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.

We Need You To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 2 years demonstrated successful management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in a team environment.
  • Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to implement changes quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
