Join our team as a School Based Evaluator and play a vital role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of students in area schools! As an evaluator, you will provide crucial screenings for potential clients, assess levels of functioning, diagnose, and identify potential goals for achievement in treatment. Additionally, you will participate in emergency services to offer rapid aid in times of emotional crisis.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with school administrators, teachers, and families to coordinate transitions to the School Based Therapist. You will also assist with implementing and evaluating programs in multiple schools across the area.

***Responsibilities***

  • Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough screenings for potential clients to determine eligibility and appropriateness for School Based services. Assess level of functioning, diagnose, and identify potential goals for treatment in collaboration with a School Based Therapist and School Based Specialist.

  • Initial Assessments: Complete comprehensive initial assessments for all clients, including gathering relevant information, conducting interviews, and analyzing data to inform treatment plans.

  • Billing and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of billing and documentation for all screenings, assessments, and treatment plans. Maintain detailed records and reports to track progress and outcomes.

  • Treatment Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, collaborating with School Based Therapists and Specialists to assign appropriate resources and provide guidance for the first 30 days of treatment.

  • Crisis Intervention: Participate in emergency services to provide immediate support during emotional crises, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and their families.

  • Follow-Up Care: Coordinate and provide comprehensive follow-up services to ensure continuity of care for clients, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.

***Qualifications***

  • Experience in family, individual, and group therapy, as well as community education
  • Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Provisionally Licensed Psychologist (PLP), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD preferred)
