Job Summary:
As a Cover Artist I, you will perform routine duties under general supervision to provide administrative support in preparation of covers. This job is an in-office position.

Essential Functions:

• Provide customers with knowledge and creativity when cleaning up artwork or working with a customer’s digital file.
• Ensure that the customer is completely satisfied with the cover artwork.
• Responsible for generating film/files for finished art.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of a Mac or PC and must know Photoshop, InDesign and some knowledge of Illustrator or Freehand.
• Must have an artistic background.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
• Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Artist portfolio must be submitted at the time of application.
