What will you be doing?

We currently have an open position for an Accounts Receivable Manager in St. Louis, MO or Austin, TX reporting to the Accounts Receivable Sr Manager. This position will support and manage our AR Processors and the day to day processes surrounding pricing updates and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to our customers. The process of submitting invoices is critical to ensure timely payments from our customers. This position will help escalate internal and external issues to our stakeholders and help drive customer satisfaction & delight.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the activities of the Accounts Receivables Processors
  • Provide training, guidance, and direction to employees to ensure work is performed in an efficient, timely, and knowledgeable manner
  • Oversee price list updates to ensure accurate invoice creation
  • Coordinate with Operations and Accountants to research and resolve order issues that impact invoice submission
  • Formulate and recommend billing policies and adherence to accepted standards
  • Identify trends, patterns, processes and strategic opportunities that will improve efficient invoice submissions and with optimal accuracy
  • Communicate with all levels within Finance and the Business on AR risk that could impact the Business Unit and Company in a timely manner
  • Communicate professionally on customer inquiries and concerns
  • Assist with month-end AR closing tasks and review key AR reconciliations
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 4+ years of relevant business experience required (6 years preferred)
  • Previous management/leadership experience preferred
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills required
