Job Description

The School of Medicine - Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and University of Missouri Health Care (UMHC) are seeking an academic Heart Failure Specialist to work in the heart failure/cardiomyopathy program. Academic rank will be commensurate with candidate's experience and career goals.

The appropriately qualified candidate will also have the opportunity to 1) perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac imaging studies, including echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT angiography, 2) participate in clinical and translational research programs within the School of Medicine and across campus, including in the fields of Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, and Biomedical Engineering.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible candidates are considered experienced. Applicants must have an MD/DO and be ABIM BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease or equivalent certification.

Candidates will be evaluated on: ABIM BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
