Description
Emerson, a global manufacturer of high-quality products, systems and services for commercial, industrial and consumer markets is seeking an IT Associate. The position requires IT skills and communications skills. Work on a part time basis continue employment during school.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in Global Security Awareness Campaigns
Gathering of requirements from various divisions and corporate groups.
Conduct research and interviews, analyze content, write security related articles
Prepare and deliver communications strategy for various internal IT groups
Participate in strategy and staff meetings
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
EDUCATION / LANGUAGE
Required: Actively pursuing Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Business, or Marketing - ideal candidate will be a current Junior/Senior college status.
Work part time while in school.
Approximately 20 hours per week.
GPA must be on resume to be considered for the role
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
Exceptional customer service orientation and written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
InDesign, Photoshop, Sony Vegas Pro a plus
Proven analytical skills - ability to evaluate requirements and translate into a design
Ability to work as part of a team
